Ok so i got my new D2.. working fine.. now the bloody horn stopped working, checked the fuse which is fine..
When i press the horn button.. i can hear the relay in the fuse box clicking but no horn.. surely it just didn't die just like that?

Area around where the horn mounts is a moisture trap and corrosion hotspot. Worth getting the grill off for a quick look

+1. Replaced both horns recently. I got rid of the foam horn surround as they don't let air circulate the area to dry it out. Treated rust while I was in there. I wouldn't have known about the rust if the horn hadn't packed in, so it must be another LR designed in failure.

Had this problem when I first got the car 9 years ago. Sprayed wd40 liberally through the grill. Problem solved.

Alrighty then...
Took the grill off, and see 2 horns.. one connected other one plug desintegrated... no wonder it stopped working...
new plug going to on there or cable shoes whatever :p
