hi. i have a 51 plate td5 with 120000 on the clock . i am looking to change the ride height sensors. i contacted my local independent land rover dealer who in the past have been fairly reasonable on cost .to do things my mechanic mate cant do they quoted me £270 to supply and fit both rear sensors. this seems a bit steep to me as the sensors are about £50 each and doesnt seem too be much of a job to change them. my mate looked at them and said seems an easy job to change them but .does the car need a computor to recalibrate them.. many thanks alan.

Disconnect the battery BEFORE you remove the old ones. Fit the new ones and then reconnect the battery. All should be fine.
