Thanks Gary but the last supplier I spoke to did a Europe wide search, and no-one actually had them. If you go on these sites many of them have the part listed , but then they say 'not in stock'. The 030 is readily available it is the 091 which is the nuisance for those of us with the early vehicles.

indeed know where ur coming from and can be very frustrating, have used advanced factors in the past and always found them very helpful

Here’s another one, alas saying they have some in stock with the qty next to each sensor, hopefully they keep them updated

That's the one that draws you in , with the dream of an 091 , but look at the oem number in the list and it's 030.
I truly appreciate your kindness, but I have spent 2 weeks chasing here and there, crawling down the rabbit hole of the internet, speaking with LR parts, and having a supplier check his complete European network. 091 is defunct. It has now joined the ranks of sasquatch.
It is now every , early L322 owning, man, woman, and grizzly cub for themselves. If you find one, buy two ;)
Again your kindness is appreciated, as always :)

ur so very welcome , sorry to hear of u tearing ur hair out so to speak in chasing one down

indeed very frustrating when u get ur hopes up to then either no stock or the wrong one

plus good for the heads up for many l322 owners as parts either become obsolete of very limited

ps, never forget there was a roof rail cover for the freelander 1, one side was obsolete but the other side was abundant , go figure

Thanks. I would have to speak to them, as they seem to have the same issue. They're advertising 091 and 030 initially but a look further down only shows 030. I am sure the problem is suppliers think 030 superceded 091. They don't seem to realise that LR changed the set up, to accept 030 on both sides. Rather than just changing the part number.
MPN RQH000091, RQH100030
Warranty 2 Year Warranty
Product Code RQH100030G

I think the solution wil be if some other company makes them, but the factors, especially, have to understand 030 doesn't fit 091, nor does it supercede it. Thankfully for now I have found a guy in America with 2. Embarassing that we have to get British car parts from over the pond. Was bad enough getting them from Lithuania ;)

Yep same problem. Because they changed 'something' down the line, (was it headlights?) It means from that VIN on, 0030 fits both sides. This is confusing suppliers greatly. From JLR themselves "RQH100030 is not compatible with models up to 4Ablah blah blah. It won't work. Maybe try a scrappy, as RQH000091 is marked as obsolete. So we can't even order one"
Hence, now wondering if it is a like for like on the BMS X3?

Effing hell, that's ridiculous isn't it... It seems that the landrover part has a longer leg on it than the bmw unit. There might be a difference in the sensitivity range...

I noticed that, but then wondered if the lityle box could be swapped over to the longer leg. Not having seen either in the flesh, I'm not sure if the legs are just a screw/nut and bolt but same inside 🤷‍♀️

Has the sensor failed electronically or physically gold?
Good question, well presented, deserves and answer. I dunno. 🤣 It keeps telling me I'm in off-road mode , when not. . Problem is itbdoes it at 40mph or more. Other problem is it's intermittent. Initially it was doing it several times a day. Then it stopped for a few weeks. Now it's back , intermittently, but not as frequent as previously.
I just don't like faults, so want to replace.

Do you have the onscreen suspension illustration on yours?
What does it show when the fault appears?

No 😔 and just pings up " off road 30mph max". I just moventhe dial for a second to high or low, then back to standard and it's happy. Sometimes happy for a hundred yards, sometimes happy for a couple of weeks 🤔🤷‍♀️

Oh and the suspension is not at off road height. I've checked.
