Newbie post.
I recently bought a 2000 RR Vogue, 4.6 auto.
Having read through loads of excellent advice in here, I’m (well, hubby is) still in need of some advice to remove the door latch. We guessed the micro switches had failed (would no longer accept the EKA code) so purchased a used, working replacement. Got as far as unclipping the green plastic catch but cannot figure out how to remove the handle rod.
Advice or a pointer with where to find it would be very much appreciated.

I recommend you download Rave
The handle rod is hidden behind the vertical door frame and is a B***h to remove without skinned knuckles. Lots of patience and a swear box is required.
And then you have to replace it of course

Thanks Oakey. After much wiggling and swearing it relented and succumb. All swapped and finally she runs again!!!!

I’m guessing it was sheer blind luck. In fact having read many of the threads in here I’m positive it was!
