When i push the starter button, it blows a fuse so cannot start her, also i have fitted an aftermarket indicator stalk and need the wires connecting. My landy has many modifications so a lot of parts are series 2-3 etc.

Starter at should not be on a fuse.
when you removed the indicator stalk have you covered the ends of the cables to make sure they don’t short out?

What engine do you have ?

Sorry for the all the questions but it may be a simple fix

So have you had it running before?

Starter/charging/lighting circuits are not complicated, they are easier to deal with separate.

Start with the starter circuit and draw out what you have, then move to the next. doesn't need to be pretty. Do it on the back of a cornflake packet of fag packet, then help is easy.

Yes she drives great! good everyday driver. I dont like touching any electrics. I would probably burn her down i am not great at mechanics either, but would have a go. I bought her like shd is basicaly .

So I’m giving up…

That’s not an 80” that’s a coil spring hybrid.
There could be plenty of problems to sort & would not know where to start.

Nice straight panels though…

Given it is a right mix of parts it can be difficult for us here to exactly advise on the issues, but someone into basic old school electrics would sort it no bother.
Give us a rough location of where you are and someone here will likely know of somewhere you can take it.

Cheshunt en8 . I could have bought an original landy, i have had 9 over the years but with this i have the old school looks and drive but driveable in modern traffic. Thanks for your time. Landy owners are good people ive generaly found.

Ok so show us some electric.

Starter.
Solenoid.
This fuse that blows.
Starter switch (back).

Now trace some wires and draw them out.

It’s a right mix but, if you can’t do basics it’s gonna get expensive. It’s probably a very easy fix, but you need to help to get help ;).

Usually with these hybrids the bulkhead dash and wiring remain fairly similar to the original some pics of the interior dash would be a good start then followed by some pictures of the back of the switch as requested. Also the fuse box, or at least the one that keeps blowing. that will give an idea how far form standard it is.
