when I come to a junction etc and take car out of gear the revs dont drop straight away....also when i change down the revs still are about 1200 to 1500rpm then when im at lights then then will fall to 900rpm
any ideas

the engine management light comes on and losses power then is fine again.....but when i stop the revs climb to about 2000rpm...ive been told it could be carbon deposit build up around the butterfly in throttle body
