Morning all hope you can help, im a newbie to the site and to disco's but like what i see so far, ive got a 92 plate disco tdi which touch wood hasn't got anything big wrong with it (12 mot when bought) but one thing i have noticed is that i have no reversing lights ?? now i checked the bulbs and replaced them, nothing, bought a haynes manual and located the reversing switch, there are no wires going to the switch ?? my question is where do the wires come out of the body ?? or where are they likley to be ?? any and all help taken thanks andy

See when you go into reverse, if you hold the stick hard into reverse, or over to the right a bit it might come on, which means the switch needs a tweak, if not the switch is jiggered or these is a wiring fault...

cheers disco but i've looked at the switch under the body and there are no wires going to it there are just the empty spade connectors showing, i need to know where the wires come out of the body to try wand find them

Oops I missed that bit... on my 90 it comes out the switch and sits on top of the right hand side of the chassis, might be the same.
