hello,

i have a 1991 discovery 200tdi, and when i move the gear stick over and up into first gear the reversing lights flick on for a quick second and when i go from first to second they quickly flick on and go off,

any ideas what i can do?

first try taking out the reversing light switch (transmission selector housing, underneath landy) give it a good clean. test between the terminals, there should be no continuity. when refitting, make sure disco's in reverse gear.
