Reverse camers and surround camers all have one thing in common, they will go wrong sooner or later!
To that, add just about any other part or system you can think of in a Landy ;) In my experience, whether it's made by the Itchyfanny Corporation of Guangdong Province, China or by Smug****e Systems of Basildon, quality always tends to take a back seat in this throwaway culture today.

Ah, the hazards of dogging, eh? :D
Looks like a pretty hazardless activity to me

Just had a light bulb moment. My cctv at the front. If I alter the camera slightly and use the internet App on my phone on a cradle when I'm going out, I can log into my house cctv and go. What d'ya think?? Will still need cams for places like ASDA etc.

As does everything :0)

Yes but all the time, I used to fit them to trucks and every company I have worked for since has them and theres always a list on the wall of dead camers to be fixed, where I am now I would say a good 10 percent of the vehicles at any one time have camera issues.
I think a lot of it is down to the camera kit being cheap import crap.

I fortunately had the £8.99 reversing camera wired into my headunit.

Still going strong after 3 years as there isn't a shocking lot to go wrong with the cameras, i imagine it's the display units that cause an issue over time
