UPDATEd - please read last section.....
Hi.new to the forum and and Land Rovers..
I have just bought an '02 1.8 ES freelander to use up the stables and a few short runs and having a few issues with it. I still have a 3 month mechanical warranty on it so would like some knowledgeable input on it before I go back to the garage and they pat my little blonde head again....(knobbers!)
Bit of background - I bought this car as around 20,000 miles ago it had a full replacement engine, clutch kit and fly wheel done by Rodger Young which is a very reputable dealer in Saltash. It also has a full service history from them as well.
Now the problem... The clutch needs to be depressed all the way down to change gears and its a right faff to get it into reverse.... Most of the time it grinds. Without wanting to sound like a plank, its hard to locate reverse sometimes.
Help......
