Disco 200tdis have a rev counter, and my defenders got a disco 200, how would i go about wiring a rev counter? Would a standard rev-counter be compatible?

I duno. Thought i had it figoured, but phoned around some guys selling tacho meters/rev counters and they said wouldent work.

Ode, have you got one of them rev counters? what are they like to fit?
Did you ever get a rear wiper motor?

Halloo!!

No, i got a rev counter which is the wrong one - but they are a piece of **** to fit. They have 5 wires, a + and -, one to the back of the alternator (the "W" terminal i think which counts the revs), and a + and - for the backlighting circuit. The 52mm one fits perfectly in a defender spare dial module in the dash though.

Yes, i got a wiper motor off ebay - brand new for £15 thanks to our somerset lookout crew!!! Not tested it yet cos the old one is still clicking away but it's imminent!

Cheers Ode, have just ordered one (same as the one on your post) I'm pleased you got your wiper motor, I've just changed my rear door so had one going spare and remembered you were after one. Good luck mate
