Having not had a landy on the drive for about 2 years the previous being a airportable series 2A. It seems funny having a 1.8 freelander pretty much gifted to me, my youngest son a mechanic having dropped a replacement engine in as the old one went terminal. Obviously there is no comparison between the two vehicles, the 2A being pretty basic but great fun. Anyway we will see if these 1.8 petrol freelanders are as s**t as everyone says they are.

Seriously!? 2A lightweight all the way, wot happened to it? there like rocking horse ****, in original nick any how.

Bought it about 11 years ago for £300 pound Sold it about 2 years back for £3250. Sad to see it go but seen it up for sale recently on milweb and not being sold by the guy i sold it to. We had a lot of fun going to shows in it but the kids grew up and were not interested anymore. Bought a brace of canadian ford ww2 trucks but also need to sell them now.

don't know how you haven't driven it deliberately into a tree to make both your lives less miserable. :D

oh :welcome:
