Same old arguments about seatbelts and side facing seats, doesn't matter what side your on and of what opinion you can find various tests and official reports to confirm or deny all the options, its one of those no one person is correct situations.

IMHO I believe seatbelts will do more harm if worn on a side facing seat as a small impact front or rear can force the spine to bend in a sideways motion which will then cause a lot of issues from whiplash to broken backs. At a higher speed it kind of becomes irrelevant as wearing them will snap you in two and not wearing them will throw you around inside, I suppose it becomes a 'your dead but what will minimise risk to others' situation.

Like I say, in my opinion I would not wear a sideways seatbelt as the low speed risk is to great, if I was to take people in the back often I would 100% fit forward facing seats especially if kids are involved!

There are options for forward facing seats. Once dr evil gets my brackets done i can fit mine and show you. Fold away minibus wheel arch seats.
