hi, can anyone tell me wheres a good place to get paint for my landy?, and whats the best type of paint to use? cheers

Original was cellulose and despite what you might hear, it is still available (Even in this f**ked up, pathetic nanny state run by cretins). These people sell good stuff and offer an excellent service. http://www.body-shop-warehouse.co.uk. They will make up to your colour but also do "Landy green" etc from stock. They also sell on ebay. If you take you time it gives a very good finish (but not in this weather!)

Water based paint is crap and 2-pack will kill you (if you dont wear full breathing kit). Strange how you have no probs buying this stuff over the counter, but they are trying to ban cell.

Sorry, rant over:5bbanghead:

hey im thinking of doing mine in nato satin black but im worried about it fading and going chalky does anyone have any photos of it painted with this it is also cheap.

I got loads of Land Rover Bronze green and i bought me self a new compressor to spray mine :) What colour are the sides and roof on a series 3? Limestone? And me wheels are the same colour as the body... They are orginal rims and have never been painted... Was this a extra out the factory or something

u sure someone hasnt just stripped all the paint off

100%.

The person who bought it new was my cousin. The person that bought it when my cousin died was my dad ;)

I have a pretty good idea of the history of the landy and i can assure you they came out of the factory like it!
