Am in the process of replacing my factory fitted radio with a pioneer DVD/usb/Bluetooth replacement. Having removed the existing radio, there are 2 aerial connectors, one small one (FM from the left hand amp) and one standard size plug (for am/fm from the right hand window). Can I connect the two plugs into the one socket on the replacement radio with a y connector? Thanks in advance

No its definitely for the FM ariel on the left hand side window. It's the highline version. It is exactly the same shape as the main ariel plug but slightly smaller.

If its a Hardon Karman same as mine, it's definitely for the CD changer, even though it's the same shape, but smaller.

Why do you still wish to keep 'aerial diversity'? as FM signals is now strong in 99% of the country.
But to answer your question... NO, but you can get an aerial diversity combiner, much like combining UHF and FM antenna in a single down lead at home, so still use the limited AM LM/LW or what ever there is around now as I never go there, so FM or most times a CD :D
