Has anyone replaced the front seats on Freelander?

I find the seat is too high and the seatback is too short for me, any ideas?

Something with more side support would be good also as I do 45000 mile a year

Realy large people with realy large bottoms wouldn't fit one, whereas most normal sized people with normal sized bottoms would fit them.

Try the seats out of a 300TdI Discovery. Leave them in the Discovery. Take it for a drive. Then you'll understand.

Hi Richardn - I think they are saying ( in their inimitable way) that it isnt the easiest thing to do!

Just to tidy this one up,

I fitted a cobra seat, removed it when the lease co took it back with 110000 miles on it, still have the adapted base to fit a seat to if anyone wants it (seat was knackered!)

freelander sport seats are much better ....with the runners they are a fair bit lower and good bolsters on them and lumbar support ...they are actualy a very good seat and fit straight in but you will need them with the runners to make them fit to the best position
