Hi Guys, I am going to replace the serpentine belt on my P38 - 4.6, I have read up on RAVE on what to do, seems simple enough, however is there anything that I need to be aware of in advance.

Cheers

Chris

Just make a note of how your existing belt is installed as when it's removed all you can see is a load of pulleys. The tensioner wheel has quite a pull on it so make sure you get your spanner as close to the engine side as possible as once the belt is realeased, the travel left on the tensioner wheel can cause the spanner to get trapped against the battery housing.

Many Thanks, little bits of info like this make all the difference....

Just remember. If the pulleys grooved the grooved side of the belt runs in it. If its smooth vice versa. Simples
