Is there someone selling new replacement leather covers, for the front seats of a P38? It seems that the original parts are no longer manufactured and I've seem them priced over £300 (though I doubt of their availability)!

Certainly that there's someone in the UK that is selling these? I mean, it seems easier to find new seats for a Series 3 than replacement leather covers for a P38...

I am pretty sure there are companies who will re-trim the leather for you....and I am also pretty sure they advertise in the LRO magazine.....from memory, my subs for LRO ended ages ago and never bothered to re-subscribe as the info on here is SOOOOOOO much better.....unless of course you get a reply like mine where it doesn't tell you much other than look in LRO....which I don't have....maybe I should subscribe again....??

Lol, thanks for your answer. I used to buy LRO (International) every month but I stopped.... until last Sunday when I picked up this month's issue :) :) Will have a quick look at it when I'm back home.

Cheers.

Just after writing the original post I found Nationwide trim through google and sent them an email. No response until now.
Zen, can you give me more info on sam's trim ?

I've got a company local to me who advertise as caravan trimmers. However if you talk to them they'll happily make any seat cover out of anything. The only down side is that they'll want the old covers as a pattern.
Might be worth having a nose locally to you for anybody similar. At least it might give you another price to compare.

Don't know what part of the country you're in, but near me in Chesterfield there's a small firm called Peak Autotrims. Lovely helpful people, total craftsman, so maybe not the cheapest, but I know he keeps a good stock of oem leather etc, and know's what he's doing. My mate with Model T's uses him and he sorted the seat for my vintage tractor. Know he does modern stuff too. Guess every region has someone like that?
