I put new batt on now nothing on dash . everything else works but wont turn over . just flashes up key in ignition .done al;l immobiliser stuff that's fine . wen you try start it you can hear a click. wich im sure is from under seat
sounds very much like irts not reading the key .! however if it was mine i would start at battery disconnect for 20 mins then making sure the key is out of the ign reconnect .
I know this sounds like a stupid question, but how fully charged is the new battery? Is it just straight from the shop? Sometimes they need a bit of a charge up if they've been sitting around in a warehouse for a while.
Don't know if your alarm is the same as my 96 fender but to resync the key fob with the alarm you need to press the unlock button about five times in fairly quick succession.
