Hello Folks,
We live in central Brittany, fairly rural, chickens in the garden and an old ovloV 245 on the drive.

Been without a Landy for a good few years now. Had a Series 2a and a couple of 3s in the past, then work got busy and the Series had to be replaced with a Disco or two (both 300 TDi). Then no Landys for a long time. Now we are just getting the time to go back to Land Rovers. Starting with a decent 2006 Freelander soft-roader but am already looking for a 90.

Nice to be reading about cross members, outriggers and oil leaks again.

I look forward to meeting you . . .

Welcome to LZ. :)

Or should that be Bienvenu a LZ?
Merci M Turboman,
. . . er!
Well that has exhausted my French,
Maybe I should just go a read some more threads.

Thank you for the welcome, I hope that I have something worthwhile discussing soon.

Bonchance

Guessing you are a Brit resident in Brittany, then?

Yes, nail on the head there. My French is getting better every day but my Wifes French is awesome.
We are loving the lifestyle out here. We are both working hard at our own jobs but the results do seem to be worthwhile here.
Regards

Nice place, from what I have heard. Supposed to be very similar to Cornwall, and the people are closely related. Some of my Cornish friends have moved there.

There is actually a Breton Language as well, although I only know a few words, I am much better at English, French and Cornish.

Welcome to the forum

One of my last pair used to love rounding-up the chickens and putting them into their shed for the night! During the day she just let them wander around the garden as they wished.

See.... that's nice, mines would round them into a corner then it would be snowing feathers :(

Hi and welcome!

Good luck with the search. Don’t forget some pics when you do get a new Landy.

Hello Folks,

Been away working, well I am actually away working at the moment.
There will be some pics of the Wifes Freelander, and I think that I may have found a 200TDi 110 here in Brittany so there will be some pics of that also.

Can't wait.
