Hi, am trying to remove the lower dashboard from my c reg 90. Have undone all the screws that i can see but it still seems firmly stuck in place as though its been glued! Does anyone know if there's a trick to getting them off in one piece or does it seem likely that its been glued in??
Me and my gf are having a minor domestic over it (she reckons it should just come off but im sure its been stuck in place or something!)
Any help would be much appreciated,
Ben

Maybe they are the concealed metal press studs
and you need to ease them away with a screw driver
so you don't tear them away from the dashboard

Just guessing.. just had my back door panel off that
had 4 or 5 including screws

Took mine off last summer without any bother. There may be some double sided sealing tape round the heater aperture, but no concealed thingies, self tappers all round.

...maybe the prev owner did glue it! just keep pulling and where its tight, go investigate with a screwy behind it ;)

Ben!
It's a tractor...Just do as Griff ses..

Just keep pullin it .Its supposed to be like that  :D

which screws have you removed already?
there is quite a few.
but ffs dont try to rip it off until you are certian all the screws are out , other wise your gonna have a job putting it back.

Just a thought but you have taken the upper dash off first?

Heres a photo of what to expect when you get it off.

i found about 10lb of fencing staples behind mine!
there's a couple of screws fitted from underneath, which are hard to see.

Couldn't weigh up why it smelt so much inside till I took the dash off and found a mouses nest!

Thanks for ure help, took the top dashboard of and undid every screw i could find but still couldnt budge it despite lots of screwdriver proding! lol bastard must've glued it in place!

i very much doubt its been glued in place , unless the previous owner was a half wit with an air fix fetish.
have a look on the engine side of the bulkhead , might be nut and bolted on.
either that or it might be sealed on with silicone.
