Looking for a pair of front bumper support brackets - returning to a standard front bumper but my support brackets on the wings are corroded, does any have a clean set that I could use? Will need posted to Aberdeen.

Thanks, what metal did you use ? Was it easy enough? Rimmer Bros want £££££ for a pair.

Old kitchen sink from the tip/eBay whatever, will give you plenty of stainless for little jobs like that, easy to bend too. Or an old kettle or even some copper pipe hammered flat.
I don't know that part having never owned a disco so don't know if the above is suitable.

If using stainless make sure it doesn’t make solid contact with the aluminium wing or rapid corrosion will take place,
Use a rubber mount between them or duralac to protect dissimilar metals,

I used an offcut of Plastisol coated roofing sheet on both of ours - and drilled the wing return flap to spread the load across a bigger area - given plastisol is both galvanised and plastic coated, I don't expect to have to do it again.....
