You trying to make it easy for the tea leaf's ?Hi guys, has anyone had remote starting fitted, are there any pit falls in doing so, and make off the unit and prices please.
Not at all, I have read some reviews that the remote starting is top end alarm system, plus it works along side factory fitted. You trying to make it easy for the tea leaf's ?
like my toys that's all seemed a good idea at the time, but some prices I have been quoted out way it.Why? Has to be the obvious question.
If it's petrol it should get hot pretty quick, if it's diesel either fix the FBH or fit one.
gone off the idea to expensive.my p38 had remote starting
well it would start turning over when locked up and keys out
Fuse boxes do all sorts of funny things
Did L322 V8 last year. Very cheap and easy to do
Tell me more, I believe you can just get the the ignition unit and fobs, and still use factory alarm.
Bought the wife a new overcoat and gave her the spare set of keys. Now she’s always lovely and warm when I jump in. That’s the car the wife’s always bloody cold !!!

If the FBH is Webasto, timers are certainly available, used to run them as timed central heating on yachtsHiya
Funny enough seen quite a few timers etc for FBH on the D3s etc, daft question plse , assume it’s also possible for the L322
Was just out of curiosity , many thks

Have you though about an electric block heater? Essential piece of Kit in Canada, does the same job as an FBH without the noise, smell or potential for failure.was only thinking of remote start as when frosty doors open ok but will not latch until the car as warmed up, I will just have to put heater in car and run off mains, only a few bad nights to contend with.
That sounds a better option, will check that out, thanksHave you though about an electric block heater? Essential piece of Kit in Canada, does the same job as an FBH without the noise, smell or potential for failure.
Why ever not? save wear on the engine, saves fuel and means you drive away in a warm carA block heater in leek!!
LOL
Think you should read all the post rob
And still the post wasn't readThanks for the advise, I'm not going down the road of remote starting looks like it would give more problems than I need, bought an extension cable and heater.
