My 2a 109 wagon has a CV type Brake Master Cylinder. It is connected to a remote servo on the other side.
Anybody know if a CB type master cylinder will also work with the remote servo? Anybody drive one with out any servo assist unit?

It should work Ok with either , IIRC the later vbehicles went over to CB cylinder , they can be a real pig to bleed. The servo was fitted on FC and 6cyl as well. I would stick with the servo set up , saves your leg no end. JMHO

these servos do help but were never particularily effective.....not like a modern car where the brakes dissappear without it, usable without but if you got one you might as well use it
