Hi all, went to remote unlock car and all opens except the two front doors. i eventually got in by using key and opened the passenger door by internal door handle. I have read that the door remote actuators become jamed but what are the chances of both doors failing at the same time? Any one got ant ideas is there a known wire fault etc. Any help most welcomed.

put your ear near the actuator and see if you hear something on fob unlock command on both doors... if no sound the problem could be from the IDM, but if you hear sounds then IMO the actuators are gone... 99.9% of cases the unlock fails first ... it's weird but not impossible for them to fail at the same time....think back, did the car suffer a shock or something?

IDM(intelligent driver module) ...it's integrated in the internal fusebox...the actuators are getting feed through it's electronic micro-relays, it used to have water ingress/corrosion on the plugs

as long as the fob works on the other doors nanocom will not help you much...did you listen as i said? ...no click or other sound at the actuator while unlocking?

No point having an intelligent driver module on LZ! There's no intelligent drivers!
