Fitted one of these relays to my 1999 def, but it don't work, once you switch wipers on they wont stop or delay, so put original relay in back in and now normal operation. Any ideas guys?:mad:
 
As it's a strait replacement it should work fine; does the intermittent wipe work at all? I have done this and I've noticed you switch it on to intermittent then switch it off when the wiper is almost parked then switch it back on to inter when you reach the timing you want.
Don't know why it makes a difference waiting until it's about to park but it does!
 
Update - twas faulty new park switch which came with new wiper motor!!!!! doh! So now have programmeable delay, result;)
 
Yeah, you can set the intermittent wiper to the timing you want and it also alters the wipe per squirt number (little squirt = 1 wipe, longer squirt = 3 wipes).
 
can somone please give me a link to this "99" relay, cos when I google for a 99 relay, I get a load of tat for 99 citroen relays etc etc...
 
Thats the relay fitted and tested :)

Does make a difference!

Did notice that with either relay i haven't got a fast speed though - need to investigate...........
