I've got admit I'm not a big fan of the standard alloys in black dunno why cow I do like black wheels, but not these I think I actually prefer the professionally paint steeliness I used to have in a black gloss with some blue flake ( didn't ask for it) but they really popped, which is why I went for black modulars rather than finding some alloys when I upsides to 16s

To be honest, black modular steel wheels was they way I was going to go, had them on my previous 4x4. But I found these wheels locally on eBay, got them for £42 for set of 5 and thought I'd give it a go at refurbing them myself.

Spent £17.50 on primer, paint and lacquer ( found some bargains!) so all in, less than £60 for the full set.

Would still prefer the look of modulars but I'm happy enough with these for what I payed, and quite chuffed with my refurb job too!!

if you do go to mods I went to 16s and tbh I should have gone to 17s, but I bet you'd get a decent price for your rims now painted..

I had the standard 17" 'Freestyle' spec rims on originally but decided to go to 16" rims as there seemed a lot choice of tyres.

Going from 225/55/17s to the 215/65/16s I put on the refurb end rims also kept it to within 1.03% of the original rolling radius
