Shame the repro ones are so bad :(

What about v8 tuner? They list a lot of American stuff to fit or to convert to fit to RV8, maybe they know of something American that will fit?

What's worn on yours?

Mine were from V8 tuner...but all they are is just allmakes4x4 stuff, didn't seem bad quality but all i did was change the shafts and arms and lost about 10psi oil pressure

A real steel cam would be for a road/race application making it's power higher in the rev range...not what you want in a 2 tonne disco that revs to 5000k or so.

Pull off a rocker cover and then the 4 14mm bolts holding the shaft to the head. if you slide one of the spring to the side you will be able to slide a rocker arm over and see if there is a ridge worn underneath it. With the mileage yours has done it's likely to be worn cam and lifters.

Right just been looking through all paper works for car and in 2007 at 143k had new cam+hydraulic lifters so does this narrow it down to either poor quality work or rockers or pushrods?

What exactly are your symptoms Ben?

Good to hear that it's had a new cam etc, as long as it was done and run in properly of course!!

Braided lines make a HUGE difference, they are totally awesome, but alas my new lift spring dropped on the drivers side after about 2 days :(
