have searched but can't find a list on the site for recommended mechanics only recomendations for odd areas.Is there a list somewhere or can someone suggest a good mechanic to look after my P38 in the Orpington area please? She has only done 42000 miles but is 10 years old and starting to get the odd niggle so after someone reliable that will keep her maintained properly.

just had new BECM fitted and front air bags but still sinks at the front and cruise control doesn't work plus warning low brake fluid light keeps coming on yet it's not low?

Try the Diesel Centre in Staplehurst - also known as RJD Landrovers - its behind the filling station on the main road through the village. They sold me my LSE and had about 50 other LandRovers for sale, some of which were tired but some were stunning, and their workshop and prep set up looked impressive. I never had mine serviced there after I bought it because I`m too far away but they did a great job on the pre-sale service.
I`m pretty sure there`s also another good independent in Kent who advertises in the back of LRM and he is solely service and repair.
 
Hi Penfolds, did you replace the the airbags or send it to a garage???

How long does the front suspension take to sink...

I'm in Essex, I could possibly take a look, at the weekend...if your interested?

vg suggestion about LRM will buy a copy and see.

try Holmes 4x4 in Biggin Hill. Dave is excellent and was very good with our recent injector replacement. Would use him again and recommend.

Was it was your dark green P38 I saw in there a week ago with new Gas suspension and a 4 digit repair bill attached?

was not my green P38 - mine is metallic red although have
just spent 4 figs with Beadles in Sidcup for new BCM !!!!!!!!
 
for anyone near banbury powerpark auto's,or if you feel flush e.h douglas.
no complaints from powerpark auto.
 
anyone know a good RR mechanic in the Worthing / Storrington area, the longer I own this car the more i know i will need to establish contact with someone other than Harwoods!
