Hi all,
As some of you may or may not know I'm Sam and I'm 16, and have been rebuilding my defender 110 for the past year, thought I should post some updates on here as it's been a while and some of you may be interested.
So I'm converting my 1986 defender 110 pick up to a CSW. I'm converting it from a 2.5 NA to a 4.0 THOR Discovery V8 which also has a LPG gas conversion, I'm also running a auto box from a RRC and am running a BorgWarner transferbox with a viscous coupling inside, which is pretty rare and not done often with the Defenders. Recently been rebuilding the bulkhead due enormous amounts of rust.

Brilliant Sam. Bulkhead looks similar to a project I'm working on! I wish I spent my time at your age doing something half constructive!

Awesome work young man. :)
Word to the wise though, you've installed that front seat sideways ;):p
More regular updates needed :)

Thanks, I enjoy doing welding and grinding, find it a bit relaxing, it hasn’t been the easiest due to the sheet metal only being 1mm thick aswell as the huge amounts of rust but got there slowly.

Excellent work :) Good on you !

As you say, the BW TGB isn't a "normal" upgrade to other LR stuff - but I have never understood why not ...o_O

Watching with great interest - keep up the good work, and keep up the updates when time allows :):)
