Hi again.
Sorry to bug you all with random questions, but I'm hoping to start putting my engine back together in the next day or two and need some more advice...

I've seen reference to putting 'stuff' on bolt threads on various things I've read; I get it for the CH bolts, I've ordered some thread lube to go with the studs, but what should I be doing with the other bolts? What 'stuff' should I be using - lube or something else??? My main concerns are:
crankshaft pulley bolt
camshaft pulley bolt
camshaft retaining plate bolts

Beyond that, oil strainer pickup bolts, sump bolts, front cover, water pump.... you get the idea??

Could someone please point me in the right direction...?!

Cheers in advance.

Cylinder head bolts lube with engine oil, water pump, crank pulley and cam bolt use thread lock. Everything else just specified torque.

It's cos there strech bolts and if they jam up when tightening then effective torque will be wrong.

Thanks for the answers guys. Got myself some threadlock and the pukka ARP head bolt lube. Hoping it all goes smoothly from here...!

I've just realised my schoolboy typo in the thread title - sorry all - should read "put on the threads". I can't seem to edit it.

In a nutshell, clean everything, lube headbolts - lightly, and threadlock on everything else. Happy days.
