Hi all.

I have a working rear wiper on my td5 but it seems very temperamental when I want it to stop and 'park' up - usually keeps going until turn off the engine.

I'm guessing all the 'park' electrics are in the dash switch?

Is it just a simple switch replacement at the dash or is there something else in the rear tailgate that I've missed?

Not had to fix one but the 'park' switch will be in the rear motor.

Thanks. I 've just changed the rear motor so I guess the dash switch must be faulty as it does 'park' eventually, just not every time i try to turn off at the switch.

make sure the reverse lights are not on while this symptom occurs... cos if the front wipers are on as well and the reverse switch input is given the rear wipers will work even with the switch off cos the system will enter in reverse wipe mode so there is the chance of an erratic reverse switch signal(except if it's an auto cos then there might be other issues too)

OK, thanks. No issue with reverse etc. I think a new switch is in order...
