Hi Everyone,
Quick question on the rear wiper switch 1984 Ninety....
I know from the circuit diagram, the existing wiring, and testing the following:-
Green and Black powers the pump when switch pushed in.
Green and Red powers the wiper motor when switch turned to on.
Green is constant power supply to switch, but also directly to motor.

My rear wiper motor does not work so im just trying to see if everything else is ok.

What I cannot work out is what the Green and Brown wire does? When I press the switch for the pump it seems to make a low voltage?

Why also is power also needed all the time direct to the motor on the green wire? and what does it do?

My rear wiper motor does not work so im just trying to see if everything else is ok and understand atm!

Any help gratefully received :)
Thanks,
Paul.

Think I have solved this! Found an electrical library document online. Amazing book. really for later defenders, but the rear wash wipe seems the same :)
