Hi all,

This is my first post having recently bought a 2003 Disco 2. It's a great car and I'm enjoying bringing it up to scratch. I've replaced a couple of instrument bulbs and can now see the time at night, done all four discs and pads, and generally "fettled" it a bit.

The rear wiper doesn't clear along the whole length of the wiper blade. I've bought a new blade (from Land Rover as they don't seem particularly available) but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Is the problem with the wiper arm? Do old arms lose their "push"?

Any help and experience would be hugely appreciated.

Hi, I had same problem on mine, used heat gun gently and bent arm in slightly , no problem since!! Hope this helps with yours!

I had exactly the same problem with my P38.

Turned out that there was some corrosion between the coils of the spring that pulls it onto the window.

I just took the arm off, cleaned the spring up with a wire brush, sprayed it with some WD40, put it back on and it's been perfect ever since & that was over 12 months ago
