V Vertuas Active Member Aug 5, 2013 #5 If the rear wiper is switched on whilst driving forwards, it sweeps every few seconds (like the fronts on intermittent) If the front wipesr are on and you select reverse gear, the rear wiper will wipe the rear window for you, at a normal speed.
