Hi all

both of my rear windows have stopped working, from front or rear switches.

I was wondering if they are controlled by the sunroof ecu or do they have their own box, as i have disconnected my sunroofs because they are sealed up.

Apart from the headlining removal and refit i have just done, nothing has changed and they were working last week.

Just fishing for tips thats all.

Dave

That is absolutely brilliant, your'e a star :)

I may have knocked it then as i did have a quick look in there for the headlamp wash relay 'cos they dont work either (never have)

Thats a job for the weekend then.

Thanks

Dave

my web host had an outage yesterday, which was resolved at 8am this morning. It can take up to 24 hours to propagate again though, so maybe try it again tonight or tomorrow!

Nothing more I can do, sadly... very frustrating when your own web site is down! lol

also, your PC may now have cached the "DNS record" that is needed to get to my web site, so if you want to try and hurry it along, try this:

Hold down the Windows key on the keyboard and press "R".
Type in "cmd" and hit ENTER.
In the black box that appears, type "ipconfig /flushdns" to flush your DNS cache.
Close the black box down, close all your browser windows and try again!

Both windows worked on the way home, sounds like a dry joint so I'll whip the board out and have at it wiv the oxy acetylene :)

:D oxyacetylene!
had the same prob with my fronts, resoldered all joints while the ecu was out.
now just have probs with dodgy switches and have to keep swapping them to close opened windows.

Thanks very much for the tips, got the sqealing belt and rear window problem fixed today, exactly as per the instructions....well happy now!
