Hi all,
Should you be able to open the window as much as you want without it fully opening?
Hope that makes sense.

You can stop it anywhere on the the way down by releasing the switch. But not on the way up

I am sure that I can stop my tailgate window wherever I want on the way up.
I will check when next in the car.

I can stop it about 3inches open then it insists on opening fully, any ideas?

If you try and stop it on the way up it will/should go straight back down

Disconnect battery for 30 seconds
reconnect
Rear window should open fully
Turn ignition to position 2
Use switch in cabin to to fully close rear window

I reckon there are some clever buggers in here. Rear window works perfect now so many thanks.
It seems to have created a new problem though. Is there a generic 5 digit code for the land rover radio nav system?

think you can get it from a main dealer with your VIN

Someone else will be along wit a better idea
