Hi, i have just bought a replacement rear wheel carrier off of ebay to fit to the rear of my vehicle. All fitted ok - however should there be some spacers to fit over the lugs or somthing to stop the rear wheel from touching the rear wiper???

The fixing plate has 3 bars with about 10cm of thread at the end, if this helps??

not really what make is it?
is it 2nd hand or new?

sorry it was a second hand one off ebay. Not sure if it needs spacers/collar to seperate the wheel a bit from the back door?

You just need 3 wheel nuts to go on first. Adjust the position & then add another 3 wheel nuts to hold wheel on. Or fit a locking wheel nut/ padlock.

Excellent!! Thanks for that, makes sense now! Does anyone know what size nuts / type of thread the nuts are as i only have one that came with the bracket!

You should have them on the old bracket that you've taken off the rear door?

Nar, the rear bracket had been "angle grinded off" i think! All sorted now!!!
