Paddocks do them, follow the linky::

MXC6510 Rear Mudflap Bracket - LH

I have fitted several of these and I always give them a good coating of Hammerite before they get installed.

Cheers mate that looks like the bit that rusted away. Can I fit any mud flap to it or has it got to be Disco?

Thanks for the help I think I'll order them up and one arch kit someone repaired the other before I bought the vehicle pity they didn't do both. Ah well.

Someone is selling full inner arches a pair for £22 + postage sound good for a Disco 2 which I think mine is "R" reg. Think I'll just get the patch kit that you showed me from Paddock.

Sorry not very up on techincal stuff I'm afraid, going to get garage to fit them.

Where yu based maybe a local member can point yu in the direction of a cheap welder or even do it for yu.

Anyone know anybody in or around Edinburgh that could fit the repair arch for me sorry such a wuss give me a computer and I'll fix or build it in an hour give me a vehicle and I'll give to someone else to fix :)

The D1's were last manufactured in1998... but were still being sold a year and bit later as there D1's with a S and T reg running around.

It's only 3 nuts and bolts to fit the new mudshield?

Hi Guys I think mine will need welding as it's pretty raggy back there I had a peek under yesterday not much to bolt on to.

If someone in the Edinburgh or Fife area can fit it I can travel to them if they contact me I'd really like someone who knows what they are doing to fit it and who better than fellow landy lovers. The local garage might fit it but they charge like wounded bulls for the smallest job.

That's my Disco that needs the welding "R" reg anyone in Edinburgh Fife area willing to weld my patch for my inner arch on the offside. You can email me privately at info@acep.org.uk if you like. Cheers

Well I had a peek inside the arch today and saw that half the old rusty mud flap thingy is still bolted in place so the garage should be able to unbolt and bolt on a new one quick smart maybe no need for welder after all. Cool

Sorry if my problems are small fry to you guys but it's really irritating when I cannot fix it myself due to health reasons. Cheers guys for the support I'll let you know the outcome.

Hi Firecat, don't give it another thought, we're all at different levels of experience and abilities and that's the great thing about the forum - helping each other just for the pleasure of it :D:D:D:alien:
