So been out and had some fun today at cuddy munts pay and play in my g reg 90. All going well until I bent the rear trailing arm. From what I,ve been told they are original skinny 90 ones. Later 24 spline axles ones are thicker?? Would that be my way forward? It's not lifted and don't intend to at the mo. Advise please!

That's interesting, when I did my axle swap I couldn't tell the difference between the 24 spline ones I had and the 10 spline ones that were originally fitted so I put the 10 spline ones back on as they had newer bushes

front radius arms on later ones are thicker, as far as I know, later rear trailing arms are the same as early ones

Got a pair of trailing arms from a breakers today. Got the later ones off of a 24 spline rear axle and are definitely alot thicker

Early ones are solid and later are hollow. You learn something new every day, or I do any way...

For the £30 they cost me they have to be worth a go and see if they are stronger. They certainly look more manly!!
