Hi Folks,

 Hopin someone in here can shed some light on the issue of seat belts in the rear tub of a defender 90. I am planning on taking my Mrs and two tiny little daughters on camping trips etc in my Landy. Basically I need to be able to carry my mrs, a 3 year old and a baby. Anyone got any clue as to how to do this. Currently there are two forward facing seats in the back. No seat belts. I am unsure if I can use seat belts which basically attach the child car seat to the reart seats, or if I need to do something else. Bottom line is I want the girls to be safe and legal and preferably in the back...any ideas welcome.....cheers.

Could be on dodgy ground as I believe:
a) By law you need seat belts in the rear.
b) Not sure where you stand adding non standard seat belts in the back to unproven seat belt anchorages?
c) You will have no legal comeback with the baby seat manufacturers if anything goes horribly wrong!
d) In a 90 with side facing seats it is now illegal to fit baby seats in the rear!
e)Best bet is to by a 110!!!

you dont need seatbelts in rear side facing seats as having seatbelts in em can be more dangerous than not. You do in forward facing seats.

Lots and lots of bubble wrap?
