i dropped a good clanger last week , noticed a fuel leak on a fitting that went to my FBH , bought a 4mm connecter, cut the pipe then realised the pipe was 5mm, oooppppps
was only a pushfit coupling but had to order one off line as i couldn’t use the landy , doh
So the "rocking" test has been done and highlighted a complete knackered ARB link on the passenger side. just like my ex wife, looks are deceiving.
That's been changed (well the both have) for HD versions and the knock is gone - had to take a disc cutter to the top and bottom of both links as the crappy design coupled with sod all access to use spanners left me no option!!
Watts still has slight play in the top/bottom bushes when rocked hard so will change that, whole Bush unit bought as I'm not going down the re-pressing route just yet So will see.
