Evening Folks,

Just noticed as driving away from the drive my rear passenger brake lights on my 2005 is not working when I’m breaking , this is also causing the bumper light on the same side to stop working , any ideas on what could be causing this ?

If the brake light lamp doesn't light and the side light goes out on braking, check the earth connection on that light cluster.
They may both be glowing dimly. Could also be a corroded bulb.

Hi just had the same on my 04. The bulb holder was faulty, got a new one and all good now. Try swapping the bulb holders to see if that is the problem.

Where did you get the socket from? I ordered a couple of Amazon as Halfords said they wouldn't have them. Ordered BAY15d, the bulb fits, but it doesn't fit into the lamp as not three but 4 of those noses are on the socket, like 90 degrees to 120.
PS Or maybe the socket name? Bay15d doesn't seem to be it as not fitting.

For the '02 model I couldn't get another socket. LR said only the whole rear lamp for the bumper provides the socket needed. Just in case anyone needs it. Also searched up and down google to find one, nothing so far.
