I’ve recently bought an older style forward facing loc and fold seat. While I’m waiting on a seatbelt bracket I was just checking the positioning of the seat.

Am I roughly in the right place here, shown in the photos?

Any other advice on fitting this before I embark?

Since it's not a Land Rover seat I guess you can put it just about anywhere.
How are you going to fit a three point seat belt?

Don't fit a seatbelt. If you do it will become part of the MOT
And ...
How/where are you going fit the anchor points ?

I was planning to use the Exmoor Seat Belt Rear Top Mounting Bracket and Butterfly Mounting Clip

If it’s fitted correctly why is it a concern becoming part of the MOT?

Also, I could technically remove for the MOT and refit right?

Interesting, not seen them before.
I would probably wait until I had everything before drilling holes to mount the seat.
Don't forget to tell your insurance or you might well be in trouble should there be an accident involving injury.

Hi how did you get on?

I've fitted similar to mine and I'm trying to fit the seatbelt.

I made my own body brackets of a fashion... annoyingly they ended up but quite in line, but fine!

My seat was much further towards the rear door and I fitted the corner bracket which comes with the mounting points.

My body bolts are fitted with similar plates to yours.

Does yours have the seatbelt connector pre-attached to the seat? I had to fit a floor mounted one which was simple enough, again with plates.

No, I need to make or find an attachment, the buckle is on the seat already though.

These are as forward as I can get while still being plenty of room for an adult: mostly they are for the kids though
