Just picked up part number NRC9455. but one end came with a flat end, rather than the dome i'm used to (that the other end has).

Is this correct?
How does it fit into the existing pipe?

Looking at part number 9 (CRC1487) it is just a plain nut, not a brake fitting at all.....

It’s just a splitter IIRC - flexi in one side and then solid pipe out 2 sides to the 2 rear brakes

I have the flexi pipe (part 7 as shown in first post). My question relates to the end of this which is flat, not domed.
I assume the dome head goes into the T section.
Its where the flat face connects in to the pipe as shown here that is my question. THis part number (part 9) is just a nut... how does a nut connect to pipes?

I think I maybe have the answer...
Is the nut just there to hold the flexi on a chassis bracket?
And then I do a single flare on the brake pipe to connect to the flat face of the flexi?

if you have a flat end it would go to t piece with a copper washer the pipe end needs a "dome "
