Both my rear door locks have never worked off the central locking. Have replaced the drivers side door lock for another problem and hoped it might fix them but it didn't. Any thoughts ? Maybe I'll just pick up a couple of latches. Steve

Ive got the same problem, somebody mentioned it could be something to do with the becm, so ive just left it for now as i hardly use the rear doors anyway, Sam

Finally fixed the problem...............2 dead rear door latches. Quick tip, the latches are held to the window regulator frame by a couple of plastic studs.
Rave says you need to completely remove the frame, window motor, regulator etc. However, You can lever the latch off the panel in place by using a slim bladed screwdriver (breaking the studs)
Then drill out the lower 2 pop rivets that hold the frame to the door.
You disconnect the securing screws, control rods and multiplug from the latch and allow to drop to the bottom of the door where you can pull out the lower part of the regulator and retrieve the latch assy.
Fitting is the reverse. job takes about 45 mins.
Remember the plastic studs were only there to ease assembly on the production line, they have no other function.
