Hi all does anyone have any ideas where this problem would be coming from? The rear door seal looks pretty good condition wise and the trim above the rear door is sealed tight any advice is really appreciated
Possibly.Hi Freddie17
yes the window goes up fine under the trim, it is central on each side I was wondering could it be rain going inside the door from where the window comes up then coming out of the door at the bottom perhaps
No nothing bolted on that should not be there will just do the trial and error stuffPossibly.
If nothing obvious, then I’d start removing the trims and look for tell-tale (whilst it’s still wet).
Assume you have nothing bolted to the rear around the roof/door (aerials/lights or similar).
That piece looks pretty solid but will seal it anyway but I was thinking about this spot marked on the pictureHi,
There is a plastic part that can let the water go in, like on the picture. Use a small amount of water to see if goes in.

You can remove that part and put a new seal.
Or you can use a silicon tube, like I did on my car, no more water. Just cover the ruber seal, don’t cover the 2 water holes on each side.
