Recently bought a 3dr hippo which had been diagnosed with an ecu/immobilizer fault which caused all the doors to start clicking and the rear door to open of its own accord.

So, I put the ecu & 27vt onto another Freelander and everything worked perfectly. I've cleaned up all the earth points, swapped the drivers fuse box and CCU over from my other Freelander and the clicking still occured.
Got the battery charged up and the Freelander starts on cue but still the frantic clicking.

Lastly today I decided to pull the interior fuses from the box with the key at position 2 whilst the clicking still occurred. Pulling F15 fuse which looks to be the door lock fuse stopped the clicking at the fuse box but not on the rear door. Then I disconnected the plug inside the door next to the latch and the clicking stopped there. With this plug disconnected and F15 fuse in place the door clicking still occurred. No difference was made disconnecting the window reg

Is this a known electrical fault?
