hi everone i have a disco 1994 v8 and the rear diff is shot :doh: does anyone known if a 200/300 tdi diff is the same and can you change the drive coupling from a three hole rubber donut type to the four bolt type that i have. [ HELP ]

yes 200 tdi rear prop and a 300 rear diff

but 300 are 24 spline 200's are 10 spline so buy the right diff

and put a 200 flange on the 300 diff and use a 200 prop

thanks discoboy i have to pop the the half shafts out tomorrow night and have a look what they are. Thanks for the quick reply

it'll be 24 spline i think

but best to check before buying

If you get a 300tdi diff with the 3 bolt flange, you will be able to swap it with the one from your original diff.

Tis fun and games getting the centre plug out of a 3 bolt flange so you can undo the pinion nut though.
