Is a leaky top-up plug on the rear diff a common problem? On a long journey the bottom half of the 110 back door ends up coated in a fine film of oil. I'm assuming the diff is the source of the oil slick, but I can' see where it's coming from on the diff...

I did tighten the plug, it felt like if I cranked it round any more it would end up falling inside :eek:. Worth trying PTFE tape or something on the threads ?
